Intelligent pigging of the Central Luconia 30-in x 44-km, 32-in x 54-km, and 2 x 36- in x 125-km gas-condensate trunklines was carried out to find out the condition of the trunklines after internal pitting corrosion was found at the receiving slugcatcher.
This paper presents the experiences gained, such as tool selection, pull test to substantiate contractor's claim, pre- intelligent pigging activities, actual intelligent pig runs, operational constraints, and inspection findings.
