| Abstract: |
Large-diameter pipelines of 48in and 56in traverse the Ukraine, and are the lifeline for the Russian gas transit to high-demand European Union (EU) markets. The high economic impact on several countries, and the complexities of these pipeline systems, reduce the operators’ ability to change operating conditions to better suit in-line inspection.
